Whether you have a love for travel and the great outdoors, or you are looking for ways to complement your inquisitive nature, Digital Antarctica will point you in the right direction.

“Our articles are written by real people experiencing the world first hand. We want our adventure enthusiast to read things by other adventure enthusiasts” says Scott Portelli Managing Director.

The site will feature articles about travel destinations and alternative activities, people’s experiences, photo tips, product reviews, a community forum, wallpaper/screensaver downloads and competitions.

“Ironic as it may be Digital Antarctica is an internet portal designed to give those people stuck in the office an avenue for finding out how to spend quality time away from the computer” said Mr Portelli

Already looking to expand in 2004, Digital Antarctica aims to add a wide variety of additional online features, including video documentaries, reader photo portfolios, an online store, tour operator listings and specials, and a conservation and research centre.
